On April 22, the School of AI and Advanced Computing organized a company visit to the NIO Delivery Center in Shanghai Jiading for first-year students, offering them an up-close look at how artificial intelligence is powering the next generation of electric vehicles and reshaping user experiences.
4月22日，智能科技学院组织大一学生赴上海嘉定蔚来交付中心参观，使学生们近距离感受人工智能如何驱动新一代电动汽车并革新用户使用体验。
The visit began with an immersive walk through the delivery center, where a NIO representative guided students through the company's history and latest developments. The space vividly showcased NIO's international success, with milestone displays and global market stories that gave students a broader view of how a Chinese-born smart EV company is making its mark on the world stage.
参观从沉浸式的中心导览开始，蔚来工作人员引导同学们回顾了企业发展历程与近期动态。现场充分展示了蔚来的全球化成就，通过里程碑展区与海外市场案例，让学生们更清晰地认识到一家中国本土智能电动车企业是怎样在国际舞台崭露头角的。
Following the company presentation, the group was led to the new-generation charging and battery swap station. Here, students watched a fully automated battery swap process in real time - a vehicle glided in, and the intelligent system completed the swap within minutes, seamlessly integrating charging and swapping capabilities. An outdoor demonstration of the cars' core functionalities followed, showing how smart vehicles handle everyday driving scenarios with remarkable precision.
企业介绍环节结束后，师生团队来到新一代充换电一体站。在这里，同学们现场观摩了全自动换电流程——车辆平稳驶入，智能体系在数分钟内迅速完成电池更换，实现充电与换电的有机统一。随后进行的户外功能演示展现了智能汽车如何精确处理日常驾驶中的各类场景。
Later, students were invited to test the AI-powered smart features of the new ES9 SUV. Inside the cabin, they experienced the responsive voice control system and explored a suite of comfort functions that adapt intelligently to occupant preferences. The hands-on session brought the vehicle's AI capabilities to life, turning abstract concepts into tangible, enjoyable interactions. At the end of the visit, several students eagerly signed up for a test drive, and the whole group gathered for a group photo, wrapping up the day with NIO-branded gifts.
随后，同学们受邀试乘全新ES9 SUV的AI智能配置。在座舱内，大家亲身体验了灵敏的语音控制系统，并探索了一整套能够根据乘坐者偏好智能调节的舒适功能。实操环节让车辆的AI能力变得可感知可触碰，将抽象概念转化为真实、愉悦的互动体验。参观尾声，多名同学积极报名试驾，全体师生合影留念，并获赠蔚来品牌纪念品，为此次参访画上圆满句号。
This year's visit not only deepened the school's partnership with industry pioneers but also gave students vivid insight into how the latest AI paradigms are reshaping the automotive world.
