From May 15th to 17th, 2026, the "AI+" application scenario typical case exhibition, co-hosted by the China Association for Science and Technology and the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region Government, was grandly inaugurated in Xinjiang. Themed around "AI Empowering Hundreds of Industries in Xinjiang," the exhibition gathered over a hundred cutting-edge technological achievements from across the country. Xinjiang Transportation Investment Engineering Technology Development Co., Ltd., as the sole participating entity of Xinjiang Transportation Investment (Group) Co., Ltd., showcased two core innovations: the "Bridge Disease Recognition System" and the "Highway Construction Security System," becoming a model example of AI applications in the transportation sector, drawing significant attention from numerous visitors.

The Bridge Disease Recognition System on display integrates LiDAR with IMU-based SLAM algorithms, enabling it to perform high-precision inspections in confined spaces such as under bridges and bearings, accurately identifying four common types of bridge diseases including cracks, efflorescence, damage, and exposed reinforcement, effectively addressing industry pain points like "blind spots" and low efficiency. The Highway Construction Security System displayed alongside also performed impressively, achieving 24/7 continuous monitoring through tethered power supply,配合合 with an intelligent bracelet that provides real-time vibration alerts within 3 seconds, and automatic patrol functions ensuring comprehensive surveillance of construction areas, building an all-weather safety protection system for frontline workers. During the exhibition, the company's technical team demonstrated and explained the innovative advantages of both systems through live presentations, serving over 500 consultations and explanations.

Notably, a group of visiting teenagers stopped to listen at the Bridge Disease Recognition System booth. Company technicians provided detailed explanations on how the system identifies bridge cracks and generates analytical reports, which the children listened to attentively, frequently raising their hands to ask questions, creating a lively interactive atmosphere. Through close contact with advanced technology, many young people experienced firsthand the technological sophistication behind bridge maintenance for the first time, developing a strong interest in the safety operation of transportation infrastructure. This scene also became a vivid example of science education at the exhibition, allowing technical exchange and industry enlightenment to resonate simultaneously.

Looking ahead, the Engineering Technology Company will continue to increase research efforts, continuously improving from precise intelligent identification of bridge structural diseases to all-weather intelligent control of construction site safety, promoting deep integration between artificial intelligence and transportation infrastructure. From millimeter-level bridge disease screening to continuous construction safety protection, the company will build a solid safety barrier for transportation infrastructure using solid research results, actively exploring more application scenarios for smart transportation, contributing wisdom and strength to the development of high-quality transportation in Xinjiang with technological power, supporting the strategy of becoming a "Transportation Power."
